Meet The Team
Sieda J. Hill, Owner/LCSW
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the owner of Peacefully Adjacent Therapy & Wellness. Since 2017, I’ve worked in various levels of mental health care, supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges. My approach to therapy is compassionate, practical, and tailored to each client’s unique needs, whether it’s managing anxiety, healing from trauma, or improving relationships.
In addition to therapy, I provide clinical supervision for social workers working toward licensure, helping them develop their skills and confidence in the field.
I earned my Master of Social Work from Governors State University in 2019 and have been dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space for growth and healing ever since.
Kiana Porter, MSW
Caring for the well-being of others came naturally to me from a young age. If you had asked me in grammar school what I wanted to be when I grew up, I probably would’ve said I wanted to help deliver babies. While I didn’t envision becoming a therapist back then, my passion for supporting people has always been a guiding force.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in African American Studies with a concentration in Social Work from Lake Forest College and earned my Master’s in Social Work from Aurora University. My background includes working in youth residential care, child welfare, and currently as a Family Support Specialist helping teen parents build healthy attachments.
These experiences have strengthened my empathy, active listening, and interpersonal skills. As a therapist, I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults to navigate life’s challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and major transitions.
I believe in meeting people where they are and partnering with them to take meaningful steps toward the lives and mental well-being they desire.

-
Therapy Is a Partnership

Your Story Matters
